I am sitting here in the airport, the Albany airport, waiting for my flight to Cleveland to begin boarding. I always feel bad leaving Shea, my baby boy. He is staying with our friends Mike and Beth. I have neatly packaged bags of food, treats, and toys for him in a nice Victoria's Secret bag. I chose the Vicky's Secret bag because it suits Mike nicely!
Mike and Beth are getting married next year and are very close to taking the next step of getting a puppy. Jeff and I are trying to push that along a little bit. For Mike's birthday recently, we made a cute little gift basket of puppy supplies. Now, rather than having Shea stay at my parents, we decided to get these two used to having a dog around. Plus, my parents feed Shea like he is a Hoover, and I do sometimes overhear my mother getting grumpy with him. That, I don't care for!
So, we put Shea in good hands. Or so we think. I guess I will find out on Sunday.
Right now, I'm too excited about seeing Jeff than to be thinking about Sunday, bloody Sunday right now. Two hours till I am with my man.
